Retrofilm Night

As discussed last week,
we will meet this Thursday: 19:30 - 22:30. We'll aim
to open up a little earlier at 19:00 for those that
want to get some fish 'n' chips first and eat them.
But what to watch?
A few ideas - rate them with a comment - and let us know if there's anything else you want to see - but it's got to be at least 10 years old!
The Terminator (1984). The original film - man v. machine. An awful lot of bullets used... He'll be back...
Wayne's World (1992). Party on Dude!
Speed (1994). Don't go below 50mph...
The Usual Suspects (1995). Who is Keyser Söze?
Momento (1999). Remember this?

Thursday's BBQ

A reminder that
Thursday's programme is the end of term BBQ, at which
We Shall Stand in the Rain and Burn Food (the weather
forecast for Thursday's seriously pants!).
Notwithstanding that - we have a nice Scout HQ with a
roof and very shiny new windows, so do come and join
us.
Parents and siblings are welcome, and can bring a drink if they want (that's more aimed at your parents that your 8 year-old sister just for the avoidance of doubt!).
We shall also have the printed Activity Forms for Summer Camps Guernsey and Gower, and the final details for Summer Camp Gower, too. Understanding who's going would be a Good Thing for this... In terms of Summer Camp Guernsey, where we do actually know who's going WEEKS in advance (I feel like Harvey must feel over at Mallory!) - we've started to book activities. Details in the Summer Camp blog, obviously...
And because it's the last night of the term, there is no uniform required. And have a think about next Thursday - do you guys want to do something or shall we stop meeting for the Summer? And if so - what? Could go to the cinema? Let us know!

Delectation involves Pool without a Pool Table, some
cake, some icing, and absolutely no Skodas.
