Alton Towers Update

The list of those going
to Alton Towers on Thursday now looks like this:
Which, unfortunately, is pretty much a minibus full... If your name's on the list and you're NOT going - please let Andy know ASAP. If your name's not on the list and you want to be put on the reserve - let Andy know...
We're meeting at the Scout HQ at 9:30am on Thursday. You'll need to sort your own ticket (there are so many Alton Towers offers around at the moment that the Group Rate is actually pretty pants in comparison!). Buying a magazine in WHSmith sorted Andy's 2 for 1 voucher (it was the Economist if anyone's wondering...).
We'll be back "in the evening". Yup - all very noncommittal - it's all dependent upon when people get bored, how rubbish the traffic is, etc. It definitely won't be before 6pm though, and it won't be after 9pm.

We're at the ice rink
tonight - meeting there at 7pm, finishing there at
9:30pm. The cost will be £5.40 if we get 15 people -
otherwise it's £8.40...

We're off to Alton
Towers next Thursday (15 April) - an opportunity to
try their new ride and all of the old ones, too!
We're not sorting the tickets (that's down to you!), but we will provide transport in the Explorer minibus for free - which has to be a good deal.
Those that want to go need to book a place in the minibus ASAP - it's going to be first-come-first-served we're afraid - and we have a Unit of 50 Explorers and only 17 seats...
(Anyone want to buy us another minibus?!).
